Obtain a pack of high quality recordable DVDs such as TDK, Verbatim or Imation. I would suggest trying to burn some files to a blank DVD with the DVD burning software. Check the documentation which came with the machine, but on older PB machines you got into this by pressing F11 (some needed F10, and some were shift F11) at startup. Tried support.packardbell.comukitemindex.phpi7442760000piplatformoriona, but cannot find any patches to download. If I enter my fault code which appears during verification the web page gives me the useful information of trying more discs.
